M&S Machining may be best known for producing components for various Lockheed Martin C-130 platforms and projects. Our team at M&S was recently recognized by the Special Operations Command Strike Systems Branch Chief, Bradley E. Penn, for our support and contributions toward fielding the AC-130J Ghostrider Gunship.

The branch is part of the Special Operation Forces and Personnel Recovery Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Its parent organization is the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center which is headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB.

The Ghostrider combines the MC-130J Commando II with the combat proven DRAGON SPEAR Precision Strike Package from the AC-130W Stinger II. The Precision Strike Package consists of a mission operator console, advanced fire control equipment, dual electro-optical infrared sensors, advanced communication suite precision guided munitions and a trainable 30mm Bushmaster Cannon.

M&S has manufactured numerous components for the AC-130 platform that include: pressure closeout kits, door assemblies, 105 mm cannon components and instrument panels.

We take pride in our service to the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and fielding the future generation of AC-130 Gunships.
